Safeguarding
Willows Health is committed to protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults from harm.
Safeguarding means protecting people from abuse, neglect or harm. Our staff are trained to recognise safeguarding concerns and act quickly when someone may be at risk.
What we may do if we have a concern
- Record the concern in your confidential medical record.
- Share relevant information with appropriate safeguarding services, such as the local Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, social care or the police, when this is necessary to protect you or someone else.
- Follow up to make sure the right support is in place.
If you are worried about someone
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 999 in an emergency.
For non-urgent concerns about a child or vulnerable adult, contact your local council's safeguarding team or call NHS 111 for advice.
How we use your information
We process safeguarding information under UK GDPR because it is in the substantial public interest to protect children and vulnerable adults. You can read more in our privacy notice.
