Carers
Please tell us if you look after someone, or if someone looks after you. We can record this in your medical record and may be able to signpost you to support.
Tell us you are a carer
If you care for someone, even if you do not think of yourself as a carer, please tell your practice. This can help us understand your needs and signpost you to support.
Carer’s assessments
If you are over 18 and look after someone, you may be able to ask your local council for a carer’s assessment. This looks at how caring affects your life and what support may help.
